February 6, 1976 — April 21, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Vinita Monique Clark, affectionately known to all as "VeeVee," who left this world on April 21, 2026, at the age of 50. Vinita's departure, after a brief yet courageous battle with cancer, occurred peacefully with her loved ones by her side, enveloped in the warmth and love that she so generously shared throughout her life. Born on February 6, 1976, in Akron, Ohio, Vinita was the cherished daughter of the late John Walter (Bobby) and Diane Clark. She was baptized in 2007, marking the beginning of her spiritual journey towards a closer relationship with God, a journey she embraced with open arms and a full heart. Vinita's educational path led her through Columbus City Schools and Akron Public Schools, before she proudly obtained her GED. Her commitment to lifelong learning was a testament to her "whatever it takes" attitude—a drive that she carried into every role she undertook. Vinita was a true go-getter, embodying grace, elegance, and an eye for perfection, believing that no outfit was complete until it was flawless from "head to toe." Her life was a testament to the power of love and friendship. Vinita never met a stranger, and her warm smile was a beacon of kindness and joy. Her love for family and friends was more than a feeling; it was a daily choice, evident in the countless sacrifices she made for those she cherished. Her spirit was loving and kind, and her home was a haven for all who knew her. Vinita is predeceased by her devoted parents, grandparents London (Embery Sue) Biddings and L.W. (Ruby Mae) Clark, as well as her beloved aunts and uncles who surely welcomed her with open arms. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her one and only son, Charles Wallace, Jr., and her five adored grandchildren, McKenzie, Carter, Noah, Charlei, and Hunter. Her sisters, Cerrie (Darin) Barnes and Yolanda Clark, brother Bobby Clark, niece Kennedy Barnes, and nephew Cevin Barnes will forever hold her in their hearts. She is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins, a special daughter, Tiahna Reed, and a host of step-nieces, nephews, and friends. Her special friend, Tim Bozeman, was a constant source of support and companionship. A celebration of Vinita's life will take place on May 14, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the Rhoden Memorial Home, located at 1101 Palmetto Ave, Akron, OH 44306. Her family extends their deepest gratitude to all those who have offered comforting messages, floral tributes, prayers, and expressions of kindness. A heartfelt thank you is also extended to her dedicated oncology team, Tara, Olivia, and Tricia, for their compassionate care. Vinita "VeeVee" Clark leaves behind a legacy of grace, strength, and unwavering love. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. As we bid farewell, we hold tightly to the memories of her radiant smile and the profound impact she had on our lives.
