Vincent P. Oliveri, Sr., a cherished father, devoted grandfather, and beloved great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home on May 26, 2026. Born on September 15, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio, Vincent led a life marked by warmth, dedication, and a spirited appreciation for the simple joys. Vincent was the treasured son of Rose and Phillip Oliveri, who predeceased him, along with his beloved wife, Ann (née Negrelli), his brother Joseph Oliveri, sister Stella Collura, and his dear son Christopher Oliveri. Yet, Vincent's legacy of love and laughter endures through his surviving children: Vicky Oliveri, Vincent Oliveri, Jr., and Therese Marshall. His spirit and zest for life continue to thrive in his eight grandchildren: Patrick Doherty (Michaela), Nicholas Doherty (Alisha), Taryn Doherty (Clay), Julia Sartorio (Jeremy), Kayleigh Marshall, Alexander Karapandzic, Ryan Oliveri, and Madison Oliveri, and his four great-grandchildren, Roman Lafontaine and Eli, Jensen Doherty and Landon Doherty and many nieces and nephews. A proud alumnus of Benedictine High School, Vincent went on to serve his country honorably in the US Army. He embarked on a distinguished career in sales, dedicating over three decades to Warner & Swasey before sharing his expertise for more than 25 years at Basic Aluminum Castings. His work ethic and dedication were matched only by his unwavering loyalty to his family and friends. Vincent married the love of his life, Ann, on September 25, 1964. Together, they built a loving home in University Heights, Ohio, where they raised their four children. Their partnership was a testament to enduring love, filled with laughter, mutual respect, and shared joys, creating a nurturing environment where family bonds flourished. A man of simple pleasures, Vincent was a true Cleveland sports enthusiast, cheering on the Guardians, Cavaliers, and Browns with fervor and pride. Whether he was taking a leisurely drive along the ocean in Florida, enjoying a sports game with his son and grandchildren, or creating cherished videos with his daughter Therese, Vincent found immense joy in life's small moments, always with a laugh and a smile. Family was everything to him Vincent's laughter was infectious, his excitement over life's little wonders was inspiring, and his love for family was boundless. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and joy, a testament to a life well-lived and a heart full of love. The family invites all who knew Vincent to join them in celebrating his life, honoring the memories and moments that brought joy to so many. As we say goodbye, let us remember Vincent as a man who loved deeply, laughed heartily, and lived fully, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those he held dear. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a charity close to Vincent's heart or taking a moment to enjoy a drive, a game, or a shared laugh in his memory.
