Victoria Whitworth
November 17, 1956 — May 17, 2026
In loving memory, we celebrate the life of Victoria Whitworth, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, who passed away peacefully at home on May 17, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on November 17, 1956, in Indianapolis, Victoria was a beacon of love, laughter, and kindness who touched the lives of all who knew her.
Victoria was the cherished daughter of Thomas and Hazel Foster, both of whom predeceased her. She grew up in a household filled with love and the lively spirits of her brothers, Doug, Kevin, and Gary Foster, all of whom have also passed on. Despite the many losses she faced, Victoria carried forward with grace, strength, and an unwavering commitment to her family.
A woman of remarkable versatility, Victoria spent several years working as a prison guard. Her strong, sassy attitude made her well-suited for the role, yet her warm heart yearned for more congenial surroundings, leading her to a career as a waitress. In this role, she found immense joy, forming bonds with regulars and newcomers alike, sharing stories, smiles, and an infectious warmth that made everyone feel at home.
Victoria's life was a tapestry of vibrant threads, woven together by her numerous hobbies and interests. An adept seamstress, she found solace and creativity in sewing and making quilts, each stitch telling a story of dedication and love. Her afternoons were often spent indulging in the drama of her favorite soap operas or the spirited justice of Judge Judy, with her beloved family by her side.
Known far and wide for her sassy attitude and generous spirit, Victoria never met a stranger. Her home was a haven where no one went without—she made sure of it. Her heart was vast, extending love to every child who crossed her path, and in return, she was adored by many.
Victoria is survived by her loving son, Jason Foster, who was her pride and joy. Her legacy continues through her brother, Rick Foster, and sister, Rhonda Kurt, who shared countless memories and adventures with her. Her spirit of love and generosity lives on in her four precious grandchildren, Alyssa Foster, Jalan Foster, Shiloh Harris, and Elijah Reid, who were the light of her life and whom she adored beyond measure.
While the world feels a little dimmer without Victoria's radiant presence, her spirit endures in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return. Her memory will forever be a guiding light, reminding us all to approach life with warmth, generosity, and a touch of sass.
A celebration of Victoria's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her remarkable journey. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a local children's charity in her memory, continuing her legacy of love and generosity.
Rest in peace, dear Victoria. You are forever in our hearts.
