In Loving Memory

Victoria "Tory"
November 28, 1972 — July 7, 2026
Victoria "Tory" Landon, a vibrant and spirited soul, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026, at the age of 53, after a long and courageous journey through life's many challenges. Born on November 28, 1972, in Williamsburg, Virginia, Tory was the beloved daughter of John Arthur Landon and Ethel Elizabeth "Liz" Mullan. She is predeceased by her parents and her brother, Eddie Ray Landon, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever linger in the hearts of those who knew her.
Tory's life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and creativity. She moved to Belfast, Ireland, in 1986, her mother's hometown, where she worked alongside her mother and sister at Golden & Leckey florist. Her time as a florist deeply influenced her life, as she delighted in the beauty of nature and the art of floral arrangements. With a heart full of passion, she later found joy in motherhood, dedicating several years to raising her beloved children.
In 1994, Tory married John Ziegert, with whom she had two wonderful sons, and together they embraced the journey of raising her daughter as their own. Her second marriage to James Wheat in 2004 led her to explore the Pacific Northwest, where they traveled extensively for his profession, creating memories that spanned a decade.
Tory's career path was as diverse as her interests. After years of being a devoted homemaker, she ventured back into the workforce as a waitress and bartender, where her vivacious personality truly shone. Known for being the life of the party, she brought laughter and light into every room she entered.
Her free spirit found solace in the great outdoors, where she indulged in her love for wildflowers, fishing, and the majestic beauty of nature. A master of creativity, Tory was an artist at heart, finding joy in drawing, painting, and crafting floral masterpieces. Her quick wit and infectious laughter were her trademarks, endearing her to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Tory's legacy of love extends to her surviving family: her cherished daughter, Montana Joann Elizabeth Landon; her sons, Harley Chase Ziegert and his wife Jaymeson, and Dawson Colt Ziegert; her brothers, Stuart Wulz and John Patrick Landon; her sister, Penelope Landon; and her six adoring grandchildren, affectionately calling her "Nut Nut." She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends who became family, each carrying a piece of Tory's spirit in their hearts.
Victoria "Tory" Landon will be remembered as a beacon of joy, a free spirit who lived life to the fullest, and a beloved mother, sister, and friend. Her laughter and light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved her.
