In Loving Memory

Victoria Epps
October 19, 1968 — October 12, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Victoria Epps, who left us too soon on October 12, 2026. Born on October 19, 1968, in Kingstree, South Carolina, Victoria was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her. She was the cherished daughter of the late Sarah Madison and Cecil Epps, and she carried forward a legacy of warmth, compassion, and resilience.
Victoria’s life was one woven with love and dedication to her family. She was the devoted mother of Jessica Scott of Hephzibah, GA, and Denzel Epps of Columbia, SC. Her love and guidance shaped their lives and will continue to do so for her adored grandchildren, Amauri Epps, Skylar Epps and Nevaeh Epps.
Her journey was shared with her special friend, Maurice Corbitt of North, SC, whose companionship brought joy and comfort to her days. Victoria was also a treasured sister and aunt, leaving behind her brother, James Madison of Kingstree, SC, and sisters Mrs. Belinda (James) Mayes of Cades, SC, Mrs. Gracie (Mike) Montanez of Fayetteville, NC, SFC (R) Debby Madison of Hephzibah, GA, Mrs. Mattie Keels of Kingstree, SC, and Mrs. Virginia (Kenneth) Shaw of Kingstree, SC. Her beloved sister-in-law, Mrs. Mattie Madison of Sumter, SC, alongside a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends, will deeply feel her absence.
Victoria was preceded in death by dear family members Brown Madison, John Louis Madison, Rosa Lee Epps, Dortherine Epps-McCray, Sara Mouzon, and Mildred Epps with whom she is now reunited.
To her children, she was not just a mother but a guiding light and a source of unconditional love. Jessica and Denzel share this heartfelt message: “Mom, your name still lives in every prayer we whisper softly. Our heart still finds its way back to you, missing you more than words could ever express. You were our safe haven, our biggest cheerleader, our best friend. The void you left by your absence is immeasurable, but your love remains our guiding light. Thank you for every quiet sacrifice, every lesson, and every ounce of unconditional love. We are who we are today because you loved us first.”
Love Always Jessica and Denzel
