In Loving Memory

Victoria Douglas
January 4, 1962 — October 6, 2026
Victoria Douglas, affectionately known as Vicky, graced this world on January 4, 1962, in Charlotte, North Carolina. On October 6, 2026, she was called home unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Vicky was the beloved daughter of Hester and John Douglas, who predeceased her, along with her siblings Delores, Maggie Lee, Costella Rose, Woodrow, Peter, Sunny, Carl, and Therdore. Her heart and spirit live on in her surviving brother John Douglas, her sisters Joyce Douglas and Nancy Barnes, and her beloved children, Tanisha, Kimberly, and Andrew. She also leaves behind four adoring grandchildren, who were the light of her life, and a host of nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
After graduating from West Side High School and Essex County College, Vicky pursued her passion for beauty by attending beauty school, where she earned her license. Her entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly when she opened her own beauty salon in Allegany, Pennsylvania, which she owned and operated for 18 successful years. Her clients were not just patrons but part of her extended family, and her salon was a place of warmth, laughter, and transformation.
Upon retiring, Vicky dedicated her time to the joys of her life—her grandchildren. She relished every moment spent with them and found happiness in their laughter. Known for her vibrant personality, Vicky loved doing hair and had a flair for style that brought smiles to many. She also enjoyed the excitement of playing the slots at the casino, where her laughter was contagious and her spirit uncontainable.
