Victor Lorin Fuery III, a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on March 30, 1960, in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California, Victor's life was a testament to love, dedication, and service to others. Victor was the beloved son of Victor Lorin Fuery Jr. and the late Jo Dell Fuery. He carried forward the values instilled in him by his parents, becoming a beacon of warmth and kindness to everyone who crossed his path. His mother, JoDell, predeceased him, and now they are reunited in eternal peace. Victor's educational journey led him from Blair High School in Pasadena to Pasadena City College, and eventually to the University of Portland, where he pursued a degree in nursing. His career was a reflection of his caring nature. Victor dedicated a decade to Huntington Hospital, where he provided compassionate care and formed lasting friendships. He later extended his nurturing spirit to Private Home Health Care for Seniors and spent seventeen fulfilling years at Optimist Family Care for Youth. His work touched countless lives and left an indelible mark on his community. In 1985, Victor married his soulmate, Anita Kaye Stewart. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and joy. Their union was blessed with three wonderful children: Brittney, Chaz, and Kristney. Victor's family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories that will be treasured forever. Beyond his professional and family life, Victor was an avid sports enthusiast, particularly drawn to basketball and football. He was a fervent supporter of his home team, the Los Angeles Lakers, and often shared his passion for sports with friends and family, creating a sense of camaraderie and joy. Victor also leaves behind his loving father, Victor Lorin Fuery Jr., his devoted wife, Anita, his cherished children, Brittney, Chaz, and Kristney, and his dear sister, Carlene L. McPheeters (Kenny), niece Kelsey and nephew Cory McPheeters. Also he leaves behind cousins Bonnie Taylor III, Rosalind Palmer and Rozilyn Gaines and numerous cousins residing in Southern California and San Antonio, Tx. and long time friends. Their shared memories and enduring love will keep Victor's spirit alive in their hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of choice, in honor of Victor's generous heart and commitment to helping others. Victor Lorin Fuery III will be remembered for his unwavering love, his boundless compassion, and the joy he brought into the lives of everyone he met. His legacy will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, forever in our hearts.
