It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the passing of Vicky Thadella Graves-Poor, who departed this life on May 4, 2026, at the age of 69. Vicky was born on November 2, 1956, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Doris M. and Charles B. Graves. She spent her life exemplifying warmth, kindness, and a remarkable spirit that touched all who knew her. Vicky was a woman of great resilience and compassion, whose life was a testament to family, love, and service. She was predeceased by her adoring husband, Rickey Poor, and her cherished daughter, Nicole Putty-Jackson, as well as her beloved brother, Randy Graves, and her first husband, Tandy Putty. The legacy she leaves is as enduring as it is beautiful, woven with the threads of her persistent courage, unwavering dedication, and the countless lives she impacted for the better. A devoted mother, Vicky is survived by her son, Christopher Poor and his wife Isha, and her daughter, Nina Putty. Her role as a grandmother brought her immense joy and pride, and she leaves behind seven grandchildren: Nelson, Mackenzie, and Belle Jackson, and Kara, Ashley, Victoria Hawkins, and Benjamin Poor. Vicky's heart was further filled with love for her 12 great-grandchildren, who will continue to carry her spirit forward. Vicky's sisters, Betsy Hudson and her husband Mike, and Teresa Kingsley and her husband Cecil, also survive her, sharing in the cherished memories and the profound legacy she leaves behind. Her life was celebrated by a network of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were fortunate enough to know her warmth and kindness. Vicky's faith was an integral part of her life, guiding her journey with strength and grace. A service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on May 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Oakland Free Will Baptist Church, located at 6326 Carney Rd, Whites Creek, TN. This gathering will be a time for family and friends to remember Vicky's life, her gentle spirit, and the love she shared so generously. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered support and condolences during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vicky's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting her lifelong commitment to helping others. As we say goodbye to a remarkable woman, we hold on to the special message shared by her family: "Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure.
