It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vicki Lynn Kleinick, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who departed from this world unexpectedly on August 14, 2026. Vicki was born on April 7, 1970, in the vibrant city of Chicago, where she spent her early years surrounded by a loving family. Vicki was the cherished daughter of Arlene Fritz and John Hartel, both of whom predeceased her, along with her dear sister. Despite the challenges of losing her immediate family, Vicki carried their memories and love with her throughout her life. Her unique laugh, a sound as distinct and genuine as her spirit, will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew her. A devoted mother, Vicki is survived by her ex-husband Robert and their son, Zak. Her legacy will continue to inspire her family, especially her cherished grandchild, who brought immense joy to her life. Vicki often found solace and wonder in the natural world, a passion that was evident in her love for all things nature and animals. Her fondness for "Snoopy" added a whimsical touch to her vibrant personality. In remembrance of Vicki's life, a service will be held on August 31, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Damian Church, located at 5250 155th Street, Oak Forest. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Vicki are invited to gather in celebration of her remarkable journey. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Vicki's honor, in keeping with her generous spirit and love for the world around her. Vicki Lynn Kleinick leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and an enduring appreciation for the beauty of life. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
