It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Vicki Lynn Edmonds, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who departed this life peacefully in her sleep on June 18, 2026, at her home. Born on January 28, 1963, in the picturesque town of Clinton, South Carolina, Vicki was a beacon of kindness and love to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Vicki was the cherished daughter of Collie S. Edmonds and Ellen L. Edmonds, and the dear child of Martha M. Schwesinger and Leonard M. Medlin. Though she now joins her beloved parents and family members who have predeceased her, including Bobby J. Medlin, in eternal peace, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
A devoted family woman, Vicki is survived by her loving children Lonnie J. McGill, along with his wife, Kadee McGill, Amanda M. Hendrix, and Candi L. McGill. Her legacy continues through her three adored grandchildren, Kenny J. McGill, Hunter R. Hendrix, and Jacie R. McGill, who brought immense joy to her life. Vicki's siblings, Alma Parker (Terry Parker), Joan Brewington, Marlene Parther, Cynthia Medlin, Annette Hamby (Dale Hamby), and Ansel Medlin, will forever cherish the memories they shared with their beloved sister.
Vicki found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, often found in the warmth of her church, surrounded by her family and friends whose company she treasured. In her quieter moments, she delighted in the meticulous art of diamond painting, which allowed her a creative outlet and peaceful reflection.
Known for her boundless kindness and genuine love for everyone she encountered, Vicki's compassion and generosity touched countless lives. Her unwavering faith and commitment to her community were evident in every aspect of her life, leaving a legacy of love and kindness.
In accordance with Vicki's family's wishes, there will be no formal service. They humbly ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time, honoring Vicki's memory by carrying forward her legacy of love and kindness.
Though Vicki's physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit and the beautiful memories she created will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
