Vicki Lee Harvey Synder, a cherished daughter, sister, and partner, left this world peacefully on July 30, 2026, at her home in Nashville, Tennessee, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 9, 1969, in Asheville, North Carolina, Vicki was a beacon of warmth and kindness, whose presence lit up the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Vicki was the beloved daughter of Nancy Jo Harvey and the late Walter Leon Harvey. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she was profoundly proud of her roots. Preceded in death by her father, Walter, and her siblings Joyce Hensley, Mikey, Tim, and Tony Harvey, Vicki's spirit is carried forward by her devoted life partner of twenty years, Larry Russell, and her cherished sons, Anthony and Aaron. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Wanda, Teresa, and Cathy. Known for her quick wit and infectious smile, Vicki had a unique ability to bring joy and laughter into any room. Her humor and light-hearted jokes were a balm to those around her, always ready to uplift spirits and create an environment of warmth and acceptance. With a heart full of generosity, she instinctively made everyone feel welcome and valued, touching countless lives with her kindness. Though she leaves behind no grandchildren or great-grandchildren, her legacy of love and compassion is deeply etched into the hearts of her family and friends. Vicki's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the importance of community, and she will be remembered for the joy she brought to so many. A service to celebrate Vicki's remarkable life will be held on August 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Meadowbrook Free Will Baptist Church, located at 204 Blue Ridge Road, Black Mountain, NC 28711. Family and friends are invited to gather in honor of a life beautifully lived and a woman dearly loved. Instead of flowers, the family asks that you donate to a charity of your choice in Vicki's memory, celebrating her spirit of generosity and her unwavering commitment to helping others.
