In Loving Memory
VC
Vicki Conrad
March 25, 1954 — March 31, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Vicki Conrad, who left this world peacefully at the age of 72 on March 31, 2026, in the comfort of her home in Finlayson Mn,. Her faithful dog, Jack, was by her side, embodying the love and warmth she shared throughout her life.
Born on March 25, 1954, in Sullivan, Indiana, Vicki was the cherished daughter of the late James and Alice Leach. She was welcomed into heaven by her parents, her sister Peggy, her brother James, her niece Shannon, and her nephew Kirk. Although she is no longer with us, her spirit remains alive in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Vicki's life was enriched by the love of her devoted partner, Dan Will, with whom she shared 39 years. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories. Vicki was a beloved mother to her daughters Staci (Darrel), Rochelle (Greg), and Danielle, and her sons Corey (Joni) and Travis (Brandi). Her family was her pride and joy, and her legacy lives on through her 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, whose lives she touched in countless ways.
Vicki was also the treasured sister of Sheila (Steve), Jackie (Ted), Brian (Ginger), and Bob (Sue), and the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Her family was her anchor, and her presence was a source of strength and comfort to all who knew her.
Vicki's life was a testament to the beauty of simple joys and the power of kindness. An avid animal lover, she found great joy in the companionship of her beloved dog, Jack, and her daughter's dog, whom she often babysat. Her love for animals was matched by her passion for gardening. Her backyard was a sanctuary of vibrant flowers, a haven for butterflies and hummingbirds, and a testament to her nurturing spirit.
Known for her quick wit and unbelievable sense of humor, Vicki had the remarkable ability to make everyone around her feel cherished and valued. Her friends and family will remember her as an amazing mom, sister, and friend who was always ready to lend an ear and offer her support without judgment. She was a confidant, and those who entrusted her with their stories knew that they were safe with her.
In remembering Vicki, we are reminded of the words of Maya Angelou: "It is not what you do or say, but how you make people feel." Vicki made everyone around her feel loved, valued, and understood, and her legacy is etched in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date to honor Vicki's remarkable journey and the indelible mark she left on this world. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Vicki's memory by embracing the compassion and warmth she showed to all.
Rest in peace, dear Vicki. Your laughter and love will echo in our hearts forever.
