Vicente Haro Fernandez
July 3, 2019 — August 4, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Vicente Haro Fernandez, who left us on August 4, 2026. Born on July 3, 2019, in Delano, California, Vicente brought immense joy and love to his parents, Jesus Fernandez and Connie Velazquez. His short life was filled with love, laughter, and selfless service to others.
A dedicated student, Vicente pursued an education in Industrial Mechanics at Coastal Pines Community College. His thirst for knowledge and passion for learning were evident to all who knew him. Vicente had a deep love for working on cars and found joy in the complexities of machinery, spending countless hours immersed in this passion.
Vicente also served his country with honor and distinction as a 13 Fox Fire Support Specialist in the U.S. Army from 1999 to 2019, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. His bravery and dedication were recognized through numerous commendations, including the prestigious Purple Heart, three Army Commendation Medals, five Achievement Medals, a Meritorious Unit Commendation, six Army Good Conduct Medals, and many more. Vicente served multiple tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, earning a reputation for bravery and resilience. His contributions to his country will never be forgotten.
After his military service, Vicente found fulfillment in his work at Target Warehouse, Liftpower, EEU, and Range Control. He was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence in every role he undertook.
Outside of his career, Vicente was an avid gamer, a passionate car enthusiast, and a devoted fisherman. He loved to make those around him smile with his quick wit and infectious humor. Vicente's kindness and generosity knew no bounds; he was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Vicente's life will be celebrated in a service on August 14, 2026, where family and friends will gather to honor the remarkable impact he had on their lives. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in memory of Vicente's giving spirit.
Though his time with us was far too short, Vicente Haro Fernandez's legacy of love, laughter, and service will endure in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the cherished memories of those who loved him.
