Vesta I Veal
June 13, 1942 — June 2, 2026
Vesta I. Veal, a cherished soul and devoted servant to her community, passed away peacefully at her home on June 2, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on June 13, 1942, in the serene town of Bremen, Georgia, Vesta's life was a tapestry woven with love, faith, and unwavering dedication to her family and community.
The beloved daughter of Robert and Kathy Edwards, both of whom predeceased her, Vesta grew up in a nurturing environment that instilled in her the values of kindness, humility, and service to others. Her deep faith and commitment to these values were evident in her active participation at the Second Baptist Church of Bremen, where she was not only a member but a beacon of light and hope for many.
Throughout her life, Vesta's greatest joy and source of pride were her two cherished grandchildren, Christopher and Colton Lee. Her love for them was boundless, and she found immense happiness in watching them grow and thrive. Vesta's nurturing spirit and wisdom will continue to guide them, even in her absence.
Though she faced life’s challenges with grace and strength, Vesta always found time to offer a helping hand or a listening ear to those in need. Her warmth and compassion left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her gentle smile and kind words were a balm to many, and her legacy of love will endure in the hearts of all she touched.
In respecting Vesta's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor her life. Her family, including her beloved grandchildren, will gather to celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the enduring impact she leaves behind.
As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate a life well-lived; a life that brought joy, comfort, and inspiration to so many. Vesta I. Veal will forever be remembered for her unwavering faith, her boundless love for family, and her commitment to her community. Though she has departed from this earthly realm, her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Vesta's memory to the Second Baptist Church of Bremen, Georgia, where her spirit of giving can continue to touch lives.
May her soul rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love she so generously gave.
