It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Veronica Njoki Githuri, who departed this life on May 4, 2026, at the age of 60. Veronica, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, left us after courageously battling high blood pressure. Her gracious spirit and loving nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Born on October 12, 1965, in the tranquil town of Molo, Nakuru County, Veronica was the cherished daughter of Laban Mwangi and Mary Wairimu. From a young age, she exhibited a nurturing and compassionate heart, qualities that would go on to define her life and touch countless others. In 1985, Veronica married her lifelong partner and soulmate, Maxwell Githuri. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, raising a family that would become her greatest joy and legacy. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life, and she delighted in her role as a devoted matriarch to her large and loving family, which includes 20 grandchildren who adored their grandmother. Veronica was a woman of remarkable kindness and generosity, always extending a helping hand and a warm smile to those in need. Her education journey took her through primary and high school, equipping her with the knowledge and skills that she would later bring to her work as a successful businesswoman. Veronica was known for her integrity, work ethic, and the lasting relationships she built within her community and beyond. A faithful member of the Molo Catholic Church, Veronica's spiritual life was abundant and sincere. Her faith was a source of strength and comfort, guiding her through life's challenges with unwavering grace. Her presence within the church community will be dearly missed. On February 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM, a celebration of Veronica's life will be held at the Molo Catholic Church.
