Born on February 15, 1955, in Houston, Texas, Dale was a beloved son to the late Steve and Thelma Norman. He departed this world peacefully on July 1, 2026.
Dale was a proud alumnus of Phyllis Wheatley, where he made lifelong friends and left an indelible mark with his infectious laughter and good-natured humor. Those who knew Dale could always count on his quick wit and the way he could uplift any room with his easygoing charm.
His childhood in Houston's vibrant Fifth Ward shaped much of who Dale was. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often seen riding his bike through the streets, greeting neighbors and sharing stories that brought smiles to many faces. His bike rides were not just a hobby, but a testament to his appreciation for community and connection.
Dale was preceded in death by his brothers Carlos, John, and Wayne, and his dear sister, Beverly. Their spirits were always close to his heart, and he often shared fond memories of their times together, keeping their legacies alive through his stories.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Ramika and Vernisha, who were the light of his life. Dale was a devoted father, always encouraging his girls to pursue their dreams. His legacy continues through his cherished grandson, Davon, and his adored great-grandchildren, Ceven and Echo, who brought him immense joy and pride.
Dale was also a beloved brother to Larry, Sandra, Kerry, Marvin, and Linda Norman. His siblings remember him as a pillar of strength and joy, someone who was always ready with a joke or a helping hand.
