It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Verlyn Noretta Bullington, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, who left this world peacefully in her home on April 6, 2026. Born on February 12, 1965, in Brooksville, Florida, Verlyn graced this world with her warmth, kindness, and indomitable spirit for 61 beautiful years.
The daughter of Glenda Joyce Bullington and the late Royce Wendell Bullington. She graduated from Pasco High School in 1983, embarking on a life journey that would see her touch the hearts of many with her open arms and ever-present smile.
Verlyn's life was a testament to the love she had for her family. She leaves behind her cherished children, Travis Bullington and Jaime Culbertson, who were the light of her life. Her legacy continues through her adored grandchildren: Jovi, Liliana, Ryder, Ollie, Estella, and Sophia Bullington, and Kaison Culbertson, who will forever carry her love in their hearts.
A woman of simple joys, Verlyn found solace in the beauty of nature, tending to her beloved plants, and decorating her home for the holidays. Her vibrant spirit shone brightest when spending time at the beach, basking in the sun's warmth, or reminiscing with family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Verlyn was predeceased by her father, Royce Wendell Bullington, and her grandmother, Nora Mae Ray, whose memories she carried with her always. She is survived by her devoted mother, Glenda Bullington, and her loving siblings, Dean (Monica) Bullington, Troyce Bullington, Tony (Doreen) Bullington, and Tonja (Kermit) Eaves, who will forever remember her as a beacon of strength and tenderness.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to those who were good friends to Verlyn and loved her deeply. "She held on strong until her last day and fought her best fight." A memorial service will be announced at a later date, where friends and family can come together to celebrate the life of a remarkable woman.
Verlyn Noretta Bullington will be remembered as a fighter through and through, a woman who embraced life with an open heart and a welcoming spirit. Her love for her family and friends was boundless, and her presence will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
