Their union, which spanned nearly half a century, was one of unwavering love and mutual respect. Together, they built a life that was rich in love and laughter until Claude's passing on Father's Day in 2025, a loss she felt deeply. A devoted mother, Velma is survived by her two sons, Wesley Morris, married to Timberlyn Wojdyla-Morris, and Bradley Morris, married to Crystal Morris. Velma found immense joy in her children, nurturing their dreams and celebrating their achievements with the pride only a mother could possess.
