In Loving Memory of Vanessa Anne Fritz On April 23, 2026, surrounded by love and the gentle embrace of her family, Vanessa Anne Fritz departed this world peacefully in Baltimore, just shy of her 54th birthday. Born on April 28, 1972, Vanessa's life was a testament to love, resilience, and the unyielding strength of the human spirit. Vanessa was the cherished daughter of Annamae Munnings and was predeceased by her beloved father, Philip Munnings. Her legacy is carried forward by her devoted husband, Keith Fritz, whom she married in 1996, and their loving children: Marcellus Pratt, Keith Fritz Jr., Kieara Fritz, Kyesha Fritz, Tito Fritz, and Koe Fritz. Vanessa also leaves behind her treasured sisters, Tina, Vikki, Lisa, and Kim, along with nieces and nephews Marsh, Tiffany, Sean, Racheal, and Tasha. Her seven grandchildren were the light of her life, each one holding a special place in her heart. An alumna of R.M Bailey, Nassau Bahamas Class of 1992, Vanessa charted a remarkable career path in Human Resources. From the mid-1990s, she emerged as a respected leader, revered for her sharp intellect and her profound empathy. Her professional journey was marked by dedication to her field, as evidenced by her active involvement in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the National Human Resources Association (NHRA). To her colleagues, she was affectionately known as the "heart" of the office—a testament to her ability to tackle complex corporate challenges while nurturing those around her. Vanessa's passion for creative arts and floral arranging was apparent to all who knew her. She found solace and joy in gardening, floral design, and capturing the beauty of the world through creative photography. These hobbies were a reflection of her artistic soul and her ability to find beauty in the simplest of moments. At the core of Vanessa's life was her family. She was a beacon of warmth and kindness, her presence capable of lighting up any room. Whether traveling, delving into her creative pursuits, or spending quiet moments with her loved ones, Vanessa lived with an infectious joy that touched everyone she met. Her legacy of compassion and resilience will forever inspire those who knew her. A service to honor Vanessa's life will be held on June 5, 2026, at Redemption City Church, located at 3301 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224.
