Valerie was the cherished daughter of George Edward Taylor Sr. and Charlotte Faye Taylor, who preceded her in death. She was also predeceased by her beloved grandmother, Margie Hackney, whose influence and love helped shape Valerie into the nurturing and compassionate woman she became.
A devoted sister and aunt, Valerie is survived by her loving siblings: John Taylor of Buffalo, West Virginia; George Taylor and his wife Theresa of Leon, West Virginia; Nicholas Taylor and his wife Amber of Red House, West Virginia; and her sister Melinda Boggess and her partner John Craigo of Liberty, West Virginia. Valerie was a cherished aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, who adored her storytelling and the warmth of her laughter.
Valerie's life was a tapestry of love, service, and community. She was known for her selfless nature, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Her career was spent nurturing and teaching, roles in which she thrived and found great joy. Her dedication to her work was only matched by her commitment to her family and friends.
