Val's journey began on January 20, 1983, in the vibrant city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her, and her passing leaves an irreplaceable void.
Val was the cherished daughter of the late Lisa Holland and Edward Currie, who instilled in her a spirit of kindness and resilience. She was predeceased by her parents and grandparents, whose memories she held close to her heart. Val is survived by her devoted husband, her four cherished children, a loving sister and brother, and a wide circle of extended family members who will continue to honor her memory.
On June 28, 2014, Val married the love of her life, forging a partnership that was the cornerstone of her world. Together, they built a family that she held dear and nurtured with unwavering love and dedication.
Val's educational journey was marked by perseverance and achievement. She graduated from high school with honors and pursued a degree in science, a testament to her intellectual curiosity and drive. Her passion for learning and innovation led her to become a successful business entrepreneur, where she inspired others with her leadership and vision.
A devoted member of her church, Val was an active participant in her community, tirelessly advocating for children's welfare. Her commitment to making a difference in the lives of others was evident in all she did, leaving a legacy of compassion and service.
Val had a gift for words and a love for writing, a hobby that brought her joy and solace. She cherished every moment spent with family and friends, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
A memorial service to celebrate Val's life will be held on July 11, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather at the Fellowship Hall in Little Rock, Arkansas, to honor her memory and share in the love that she so freely gave.
The family invites all who knew Val to join them at their home to view her cremation ashes and celebrate the passing of their beloved. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations be made in Val's memory to organizations that support children's advocacy, a cause she held close to her heart.
Val Wells touched the lives of many, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love.
