With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Usha Kanungo, who departed this world peacefully on April 14, 2021. Born on November 7, 1950, Usha lived a life filled with grace, love, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. Usha was a beacon of light to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on the hearts of many. Known for her gentle spirit and nurturing nature, Usha dedicated her life to creating a loving and supportive environment for her family. Her home was always a sanctuary, filled with laughter, love, and the irresistible aroma of her delicious cooking. She is survived by her devoted children Amit Kanungo and Aparna Mistry, and her cherished son-in-law, Mikhail Mistry. Though she had no grandchildren, her love extended far beyond, touching the lives of many children in her community, who affectionately referred to her as "Aunt Usha." Usha's loving nature was matched by her wisdom, which she generously shared with those around her. She was a woman of strong principles, teaching her children the values of kindness, perseverance, and humility. Her life was a testament to the power of unconditional love and the importance of family bonds. In her memory, her family shares this heartfelt message: "To our mother in heaven, thank you for always loving us and guiding us. Even though you are no longer here with us, we can still feel your love guiding us. You are always in our hearts. We love you and miss you dearly." Usha's legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched.
