Unique Monet Robinson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Unique Monet Robinson, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, who left this world on August 21, 2026. Born on September 24, 2002, in Milwaukee, WI, Unique was a radiant soul whose presence brought joy and warmth to all who knew her. Unique was the cherished daughter of Sophia L Robinson and Michael Barksdale. She was preceded in death by her devoted mother, Sophia L Robinson; her grandmother, Deborah Robinson; and her great-grandmother, Ethel Robinson. Her legacy of love continues through her surviving family, including her father, Michael Barksdale; her brother, Justin Carter; her sisters, Sophia Hylton and Miracle; and a host of aunts, cousins, friends, nephews, nieces, uncles, and others who loved her dearly. A proud alumna of Dr. Fuller Collegiate Academy High School, Unique graduated in 2021 and pursued her passion for helping others by studying the medical field at MATC. Her dedication to caring for others was evident in her work as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a role she fulfilled with compassion and diligence until her passing. Unique's spiritual journey began at an early age when she accepted Christ and became an active member of various churches. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life, inspiring those around her with her unwavering love for the Lord. Known for her infectious smile and the joy she found in the company of others, Unique was a young lady who brought laughter and happiness to everyone she encountered. Her love for music and dance was another testament to her vibrant spirit, often seen expressing herself through the rhythm and melody that she cherished so dearly. In remembrance of Unique, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to a charity of their choice, honoring her generous nature and her commitment to making the world a brighter place. Unique Monet Robinson touched the lives of many and leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness. While she will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
