Tyrone was born on February 6, 1962, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late Alonzo Powell and Lillian Warren. His life, though cut short, was filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to his family and friends.
Tyrone's journey began in the vibrant city of Pittsburgh, where he was raised alongside a large and loving family. He graduated from Perry Traditional Academy in 1982, a proud alumnus who cherished the friendships and memories from those formative years. It was here that Tyrone developed his love for people, a passion that would become a defining characteristic throughout his life.
A true social butterfly, Tyrone was known for his remarkable ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He married the love of his life, Monica Gandy, and together they built a beautiful life centered around their two cherished daughters, Shayla and Tyonica. His family was his pride and joy, and he was a devoted husband and father. Tyrone was also blessed with the joy of being a grandfather, a role that filled his heart with immense happiness.

Tyrone was predeceased by his parents, Alonzo Powell and Lillian Warren, and his siblings Nathaniel Warren, Ronnie Warren, Alonzo Powell Jr., James Thomas, Maurice Powell, Robert Thomas, Donald Powell, Marlene Powell, Erskine Powell, Alleen Hogan, Carolyn Warren, and Niecey Warren. Though his family has endured much loss, they find solace in the cherished memories and enduring legacy he leaves behind.
He is survived by his devoted siblings Conley Powell (Dorothy), Donnell Warren, Debbie Beasley, Joanne Warren, Kim Warren, Michelle Warren, and Diane Warren, who will forever hold him close in their hearts. Tyrone's extended family includes a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and his treasured grandchild, all of whom will miss him dearly.
