July 5, 1989 — September 12, 2026

In loving memory of Tyresha, who graced this world from July 5, 1989, to September 12, 2026, we celebrate a life filled with love, courage, and an unwavering spirit. Born in Columbus, Georgia, Tyresha was a beacon of strength and warmth, touching the lives of all who knew her. Tyresha was the beloved daughter of Rachael Allen and Bobby CoPenny. She was predeceased by her cherished grandmother, Rosa Lee Allen, and leaves behind a devoted family who will forever hold her in their hearts. Her husband, Jarvis Meadows, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage since November 10, 2017, and their two precious daughters, Ray Ray and Ni Ni, were the center of her world. Together, they nurtured a home filled with laughter, love, and shared dreams. Tyresha's siblings—DJ, Davanta, Corey, Ebony, Tiesha, Kdahjah, Justice, Keke, Cambrie, and Robert—along with countless dear friends, remember her as someone who cherished family above all else. Her life was guided by her faith in God and a profound commitment to living each day to its fullest, always enveloped in prayer and love. An alumna of Carver High School's Class of 2007, Tyresha pursued her passion for holistic and nutritional health, earning a PhD. Her dedication extended beyond academics as she trained in CPR, first aid, yoga instruction, personal fitness, kickboxing, and self-defense. Professionally, Tyresha enriched the lives of others through various roles, from cooking at Spring Harbor and Manchu Wok to her work at Walmart, Alatrade, and as an animal care technician at Paws Humane Society. Her role as a peer counselor and her service with the Muscogee County school system further exemplified her commitment to nurturing and guiding those around her. Tyresha's hobbies and interests reflected her generous spirit; she was always eager to lend a helping hand, balancing her time between her family and community service. Her life motto was a testament to her character: "I live my life like it's my last every day with my daughters and family. I stayed praying through it all." This unwavering faith and love defined her journey. A celebration of Tyresha's life will be held on October 3, 2026, at 1:00 PM at True Devine Missionary Baptist Church, located at 1105 9th Street, Phenix City, Alabama. Her family invites all who knew her to join them in honoring her remarkable life. The CoPenny and Meadows family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported them through this difficult time. Your prayers, words of comfort, and acts of kindness have provided solace and strength. As they continue along the path of grief, they find comfort in knowing that Tyresha was surrounded by love and that this love continues to envelop their family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tyresha’s memory to organizations close to her heart. Rest in peace, dear Tyresha. Your legacy of love and compassion will forever inspire those who were blessed to know you.

Special Thanks

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who stood beside our family during the loss of our loved one. Your prayers, calls, messages, visits, kind words, thoughtful gestures, and acts of love and support meant more to us than words can truly express. During a time when our hearts were heavy and emotions were difficult to put into words, your presence reminded us that we were not alone. To our family, friends, church family, coworkers, neighbors, and everyone who reached out in any way—thank you for helping us through one of the most difficult moments of our lives. Every prayer was felt. Every kind word was appreciated. Every gesture of love will be remembered. We know that grief is a journey, and there are still difficult days ahead, but we are comforted knowing that our loved one was surrounded by so much love, and that our family is surrounded by people who genuinely care. May God bless each and every one of you for the love, compassion, and support you showed our family. We will forever be grateful. With heartfelt appreciation and love, The CoPenny and Meadows Family.
