Born on January 18, 1979, in Philadelphia, Tyree was a beacon of light and love to all who knew him. Tyree was the beloved child of Janara Mitchell, who instilled in him the values of kindness, perseverance, and community. Throughout his life, Tyree lived these values every day, offering warmth and generosity to those around him. His infectious laughter and compassionate spirit left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. A dedicated and devoted family man, Tyree was predeceased by his dear family members Jamir Mitchell, Idesha Brown, and Gwendolyn Mitchell, with whom he shared countless cherished memories. The love and lessons they imparted continued to guide him throughout his life. Tyree's life was tragically cut short by gun violence, an all-too-common tragedy that robs the world of remarkable individuals like him. Despite the challenges he faced, Tyree's resilience and unwavering determination inspired those around him to live with purpose and gratitude. In accordance with the family's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Tyree's life and legacy. During this intimate gathering, family and friends will come together to celebrate the life of a man whose impact will be felt for generations to come. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, as a tribute to Tyree's lifelong commitment to helping others and improving the community he loved so dearly. Though Tyree Mitchell is no longer with us, his spirit endures in the hearts of those who loved him.
