With deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of Tyojuana Lenard, a beloved daughter, sister, partner, and friend. Tyojuana departed this world on August 30, 2026, at the age of 42, finding peace and healing in the embrace of the Lord. Born on December 22, 1983, in the vibrant city of New Orleans, LA, Tyojuana's life was a testament to warmth, creativity, and resilience. Tyojuana was the cherished daughter of Sharunna Harris, who survives her. She is also lovingly remembered by her brother. Preceding her in death are her father, Devon Lenard Sr., and her grandfather, Roosevelt Harrell III. Her devoted partner, Chris Moore, shared a deep connection with Tyojuana, bringing joy and companionship into her life. A proud graduate of Hazelwood East, Tyojuana furthered her education at StLcc, always driven by a thirst for knowledge and a passion for personal growth. Her career as a cook was more than just a profession; it was an art form through which she expressed her love and care for others. Known by many as the best cook in the city, Tyojuana's home was often the setting for joyous gatherings and memorable parties, where her culinary creations brought people together. Outside the kitchen, Tyojuana's heart was warmed by the companionship of her beloved dog, Prince William. Her love for animals and her nurturing spirit were just a few of the many qualities that endeared her to those around her. A celebration of Tyojuana's life will take place on September 14, 2026, at 11:32 PM at Union Tabernacle Baptist Church, located at 626 N Newstead. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Tyojuana are invited to join in remembering her remarkable life and the love she shared with the world. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Tyojuana's memory to a charity of your choice that supports mental health awareness and support.
