Tynika Diane Johnson
July 1, 1991 — March 1, 2026
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Tynika Diane Johnson, who departed this life suddenly on March 1, 2026. Born on July 1, 1991, in Baltimore, Maryland, Tynika was a beacon of light and joy to all who knew her.
Tynika was the cherished daughter of Michael Johnson and Porthingia Taylor, who lovingly guided her throughout her life. She was greeted in heaven by her infant sister, Alicia Annette, with whom she is now reunited. Tynika's life was a testament to love, resilience, and dedication, and her memory will forever be cherished by her surviving family, including her devoted parents and her cherished children: Kimberly Johnson, Talayah Seymore, Tariah (Nya) Seymore, Tarius (Papa) Seymore, Kalee Seymore, Heaven Seymore, Hunter, and Neavaeh Seymore. Her siblings, Tammie Jones (Cory), Nicole Johnson (Brian), Jennifer Johnson, Ashley Johnson, and brother Calvin Townsend, along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, will forever hold her in their hearts. Special friends Arielle and Mimi were also blessed to share in Tynika's life and love.
A proud graduate of Randallstown High School in Baltimore County, Tynika's journey led her through various roles in the fast-food industry, where she honed her skills and formed lasting friendships. Ultimately, she found her true calling as a cafeteria aide at Woodbridge Elementary School. There, she touched the lives of countless children with her kindness and nurturing spirit, becoming a beloved and integral member of the school community.
Tynika's life will be celebrated and her legacy honored at Wings of Victory Church, located at 2660-64 Polk Street, Baltimore, MD 21207, on March 27, 2026. The service will commence at 10:45 AM, and all who knew and loved her are welcome to attend.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff and co-workers at Woodbridge Elementary School, the Wings of Victory Church Family, and her many friends and family for their kindness, condolences, and generosity during this difficult time. Special thanks are also extended to Dr. Beverly Cromartie for her compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Tynika's name to a charity of your choice, as a testament to her generous and caring spirit.
Though Tynika's time with us was far too brief, her love, laughter, and warmth will remain in our hearts forever. We find comfort in knowing that she now rests peacefully, enveloped in the eternal embrace of her Creator.
