In loving memory of Tuiloma Lasela “Stella” Fa’atupu’atupulega Toilolo Fatu-Satele, who passed away peacefully on April 12, 2026, after a courageous battle with colon cancer. Stella was born on March 5, 2026, in the beautiful town of Leone, American Samoa, to her beloved parents, the late Tuitoli’e Matanga and Savealina Tuiloma Toilolo. Stella’s life was a testament to resilience, love, and the indomitable spirit of her Samoan heritage. She was the cherished wife of Solofa Fatu-Satele, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. Stella was a devoted mother to her son, Charles Tuiloma Fatu-Satele, and a nurturing presence in the lives of her siblings, Solofa Tuiloma Toilolo, Afoa Manuita Toilolo Sr., and Toilolo Tuiali’i Toilolo. A proud graduate of Leone University of Samoa in 1963, Stella dedicated her life to the service of others. She embarked on a lifelong career as a nurse in 1967, providing compassionate care to countless individuals until her retirement in 2023. Her colleagues and patients alike remember her for her gentle touch and unwavering dedication to their well-being. Beyond her professional life, Stella was an active and cherished member of the Samoan Baptist Church of San Diego, California. Her faith guided her, and she was a beacon of kindness and community spirit. She had a deep love for showcasing her Samoan culture, often sharing stories and traditions with those around her. Stella found immense joy in watching her children and grandchildren play football, cheering them on with unwavering enthusiasm and pride. Her loving and caring personality left an indelible mark on everyone she met, and her warmth and generosity were felt by all who crossed her path. We invite all who knew and loved Stella to join us in celebrating her life on April 24, 2026, at the Samoan Baptist Church of San Diego, located at 45th and Market Street. The service will commence at 19:55. For those unable to attend in person, a livestream will be available on YouTube and Instagram, allowing her extended family and friends to pay their respects from afar. Stella’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her spirit, strength, and love will continue to inspire us every day. Though she is no longer with us, the memories of her kindness and dedication will forever remain. May she rest in eternal peace.
