It is with both profound sadness and gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Tuck Taylor, who departed from this world on April 1, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on October 12, 1949, in Columbus, Ohio, Tuck was a tender-hearted soul whose journey through life left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered.
Tuck was the beloved son of Mr. and Ms. Taylor, who nurtured him with love and wisdom. He was predeceased by his cherished siblings, Morris Taylor and Margaret Tayloe, whose memories he carried with him throughout his days.
A proud alumnus of North High School and Ohio State University, where he pursued engineering with the acumen of a true scholar, Tuck was a member of the Navel ROTC, exemplifying dedication and service to his country. His career at Xerox spanned over three decades, where he became a cornerstone of the company through his commitment and expertise. His colleagues remember him as a brilliant mind and a compassionate mentor.
Tuck met the love of his life, Celia Carol Diane Courtright, with whom he shared a beautiful journey of partnership, laughter, and unwavering support. Together, they built a life filled with love and joy, raising a family that became their greatest pride. He leaves behind his devoted wife and his treasured daughters, who carry forward his legacy of integrity and kindness. Tuck was also a proud grandfather to five grandchildren, whose lives have been enriched by his wisdom and playful spirit.
In his leisure time, Tuck indulged in various hobbies that reflected his zest for life. He was known for his innate curiosity and the unique perspective he brought to everything, being left-handed—a trait he embraced with humor and creativity.
Tuck believed in the power of giving, and in his memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to XYZ, an organization close to his heart.
As we bid farewell to Tuck, we hold close the memories of his gentle smile, his warm embrace, and the profound impact he had on all who knew him. His legacy is one of love, integrity, and compassion—a beacon of light that will continue to guide us.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. They offer a special message: "Special mssage," a testament to Tuck's unique ability to touch hearts with his words.
A private service will be held to honor Tuck's life, where family and friends will gather to celebrate the extraordinary journey of a remarkable man. Tuck Taylor will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved him.
