It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Tuan Khac Chau, who peacefully departed this world on March 28, 2026, after courageously battling a long-term illness. Tuan was a beacon of light and warmth, born on July 6, 1958, in the beautiful town of Hue, Vietnam. His journey through life was marked by immeasurable love, laughter, and the indelible impact he left on all who knew him. Tuan was a devoted husband to his cherished wife of 40 years, Kim Lan Chau. Together, they crafted a beautiful life and raised two wonderful children, Xuan Thao Chau and Tu Anh Chau, who carry forward his legacy of kindness and joy. His heart was filled with pride and love for his six treasured grandchildren: Benny Jun Minh Briscoe, Callie Kim Hwa Briscoe, Jackie Minh Lien Briscoe, Tyson Chau, Theodore Chau, and Trinity Chau. Tuan's family was his greatest joy, and he found immense happiness in their laughter and accomplishments. Tuan is survived by his loving family, including his daughter Xuan Thao and her husband Matthew Briscoe, his son Tu Anh and his wife Thi Bui. His presence will be deeply missed by his siblings, sisters Khanh Trang Chau, Khanh Hong Chau, Khanh Mai Chau, Khanh Dung Chau, Khanh Loi Chau, and their spouses, as well as his brothers Dung Khac Chau and Toan Khac Chau and wife. Tuan's life was enriched by his passions for travel, food, and painting. He was an adventurer at heart, always eager to explore new places and savor the diverse flavors of the world. His artistic spirit found expression in his paintings, which he shared with family and friends, capturing the beauty he saw in everyday life. Known for his infectious smile and quick wit, Tuan could light up any room with his humor and warmth. He had an uncanny ability to tell a joke that would bring laughter to everyone around him, leaving a trail of joy and cherished memories in his wake. A service to celebrate Tuan's remarkable life will be held on June 12, 2026, at 9:00 AM at St Anthony's Chapel, located at 304 Third Ave South, Kent, WA 98032. Those who cannot attend in person are invited to join via livestream at www.holyspiritkent.org. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Tuan's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting his generous spirit and his wish to continue making the world a better place. Tuan Khac Chau's legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will forever remain in our hearts. May he rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
