Troy's life was marked by dedication, love, and a steadfast commitment to those he held dear. He graduated from Gladwin High School in 1989, setting the stage for a life of service and hard work. He proudly served his country as a Marine for four years, embodying the values of honor, courage, and commitment that would guide him throughout his life.
Following his military service, Troy found his professional calling as an electrician with Valley Electrical Contractors. His colleagues remember him as a diligent and skilled professional, who brought both expertise and kindness to every project he undertook.
Troy was deeply passionate about the great outdoors. An avid hunter, he found peace and joy in the woods and on the water, where he spent countless hours connecting with nature. These experiences were often shared with his family, creating cherished memories that will endure in their hearts.
Troy was a devoted partner to Jackie Morgan, with whom he raised two wonderful children. His daughter, Emily Morgan, and her partner, Clayton Spears, along with his step-son, Bryce Paulsen, and his wife, Ashley, were the center of his world. The light of his life was his grandson, Mason, with whom he shared a special bond, imparting wisdom and love in equal measure.
Above all, Troy was an amazing father and grandfather. His love for his family was boundless, and he found immense joy in spending time with his children and grandson. Those who knew him will remember his warmth, his laughter, and his unwavering support.
