Troy Reid

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Troy Reid, who left us on September 12, 2026. Born on February 22, 1966, Troy was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend. He passed away peacefully at South Mountain nursing home in Vauxhall, NJ, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. Troy was the cherished son of the late Taft and Carrie Reid, who instilled in him values of kindness and humor that he carried with him throughout his life. Predeceased by his parents, Troy is survived by a loving family, including his siblings Mark and his wife Valerie, Paulia, Terri and her husband Ronald, Regina, Melissa, and John. He also leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss his infectious laughter and bright smile. Professionally, Troy dedicated many years to his work as a cook and in warehouse roles. His career was marked by hard work and dedication, but it was his personal qualities that truly defined him. Known for his quick wit and warm smile, Troy had an incredible ability to uplift those around him with a well-timed joke or a kind word. His presence brought joy and light to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of support, wishes, and prayers during this difficult time. Troy's memory will forever be cherished by those who loved him, and he will be remembered for the joy and laughter he brought into their lives.
