Tredant Anderson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, passed away on August 5, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and extraordinary memories. Born on May 17, 1967, in Los Angeles, CA, Tredant was the cherished son of Abraham Anderson and Erma Gardner. Tredant's journey in life was marked by his boundless energy and zest for exploration. He graduated from Joseph Moore Davidson High School in 1985, where he was a standout athlete, excelling in track and football. His passion for engineering led him to earn a Bachelor's degree from Louisiana Tech University in 1990. Tredant's career as an Engineer with T-Mobile spanned over two decades, during which he became certified in more than 10 communication networks and was recognized as a true team player. His personal life was equally vibrant. Tredant was an avid explorer who loved traveling, trying new things, and indulging in his passion for food. He was known for his quick wit, bright smile, and the gift of making everyone feel special and welcomed. Tredant's kindness, generosity, and ability to make people laugh were his trademarks. He never met a stranger, and his sharp tongue ensured he protected those he loved fiercely. Tredant's family was the cornerstone of his life. Though he married Trina McGee in 1989, and they parted ways in 1999, he found love again with Melanie Moore. Their relationship blossomed in Minneapolis, MN in 2008, leading to many adventures together. They moved to Denton, TX in 2017 and celebrated their union with a joyous wedding in Webster, TX on August 20, 2022. Tredant is survived by his devoted wife, Melanie Anderson; his beloved children, Tredant Anderson Jr. (TJ) and Kella 'Kee' Phillips (Marcom Phillips Sr.); and his dear grandchildren, Calvin Green IV, Jordyn Moore, Damari Anderson, Jaxsen Anderson, Marcom Phillips Jr, Jaśai Anderson, and Su'Rai Anderson. He also leaves behind his loving mother, Erma Jean Smith, and his cherished sister, Kahleilah Sutherland and raised sibling, Sharon Baker amongst a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Tredant was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Ike & Louise Garner; paternal grandparents Abraham & Beatrice Anderson; father, Abraham Anderson Jr., stepdaughter Nicole Moore, and several beloved family members. The family wishes to express their deepest heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
