Tre davis
January 7, 2002 — September 24, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tre, a cherished son, father, and friend, who left this world far too soon on September 24, 2026. Born on January 7, 2002, in Lansing, Michigan, Tre's life, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
Tre was a proud graduate of Irving High School, where he completed his studies in 2018. His journey into adulthood was marked by a steadfast dedication to his career, working as a contractor for an HVAC company in his hometown of Lansing. Tre's work was more than just a job; it was a testament to his commitment to providing a better life for his beloved children.
As a father, Tre's love knew no bounds. He leaves behind his two precious children, a two-year-old son, Tre, and a one-year-old daughter, Kalani. They were the center of his universe, and his devotion to them was evident in every aspect of his life. Tre's legacy will live on in their hearts and the stories they will hear about their father's kind and gentle spirit.
Tre was not only a dedicated father but also a beloved brother, uncle, and friend. He cherished the time spent on the basketball court, where his passion for the game was matched only by his joy in sharing those moments with his brothers. His nieces and nephews will forever remember the laughter and love that Tre brought into their lives.
Tre's life was tragically cut short by gun violence, a heartbreaking reminder of the preciousness of life and the urgent need for peace in our communities. His passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but his memory will continue to inspire those who knew him to work towards a world where such tragedies no longer occur.
In honor of Tre's life, a private funeral ceremony will be held, allowing his family and close friends to pay their respects in a manner that reflects the intimacy and warmth of his spirit. To honor his memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in lieu of flowers.
Tre's life, though brief, was filled with purpose and love. As we remember him, let us hold his memory close, cherishing the moments we shared and the lessons he taught us about love, resilience, and the importance of family.
In lieu of flowers, the family of Tre davis welcomes donations to a charity, nonprofit, church, or organization of your choosing.
