Travasky passed away peacefully at home in the loving embrace of his family following a courageous battle with his illnesses. His journey began on August 2, 1977, in Ville Platte, Louisiana, where he was born to Mary Richard and the late Alfred Coleman.
From a young age, Travasky's warmth and zest for life were evident to all who knew him. He attended James Stephen’s Elementary School and Ville Platte High School, where he cultivated lifelong friendships and a love for learning. As a proud Ville Platte native, Travasky cherished the vibrant community that helped shape his character.
Travasky was a man of boundless joy and laughter, qualities that were as infectious as they were heartwarming. His smile had the power to brighten the darkest of days, and his laughter was a melody that will echo in the hearts of those who knew him. A devoted San Francisco 49ers fan, Travasky shared his passion for the team with enthusiasm and camaraderie, making game days memorable events for family and friends alike.
Cooking was another of Travasky's great loves. He found joy in preparing meals that brought people together, creating not just dishes, but cherished memories. His home was a sanctuary of warmth and hospitality, where family and friends gathered to celebrate life, love, and togetherness.
Travasky's legacy lives on through his life partner of over 25 years, Santa Faye Goodley, who stood by his side with unwavering love and support. Together, they built a beautiful family, blessed with three children: Brittany Goodley, Makalia Coleman, and Travasky Coleman Jr. His four grandchildren were the apples of his eye, bringing him immense pride and joy. Travasky's love extended to his mother, Mary Richard, his sister, Jessica Freeman, and his brother, Alex Richard, who will forever hold his memory close.
He is reunited in spirit with those who predeceased him, including his father, Alfred Coleman, his brother, Tremaine Coleman, and both his maternal and paternal grandparents. Their memories will continue to be a source of comfort and strength for the family.
In remembering Travasky, we celebrate a life well-lived, a life overflowing with love, loyalty, and laughter. His impact on the lives of those he touched is immeasurable, and his spirit will forever be a guiding light.
