Tramayne Franklin, affectionately known as "Tray," passed away peacefully at his residence on September 4, 2026, at the age of 54. Born on April 13, 1972, in Forsyth County, Tray's life was a testament to love, resilience, and passion. Tray was the beloved son of Bernard Ross and the late Yvette Franklin, and he shared an unbreakable bond with his family. He was preceded in death by his cherished son, Taekwan Franklin. Tray’s legacy is lovingly carried forward by his devoted wife, Tiffany Cook Franklin, and his children: Tamaryn Franklin, Tramayne Franklin Jr., and Traevonte Franklin. Tray was a proud grandfather to seven beautiful grandchildren, who will grow up cherishing the memories of their doting grandfather. A proud alumnus of Glenn High School in Winston Salem, Tray’s love for cooking blossomed into a rewarding career as an Executive Chef. Known for his culinary skills, Tray brought joy and warmth to those around him through his delicious creations, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts and taste buds of many. Beyond his professional achievements, Tray was a man of varied interests. He found immense joy in spending time with family and friends, and he was an avid football enthusiast. His laughter and enthusiasm were infectious, and he was often the life of any gathering. Tray's family invites those who knew and loved him to a celebration of his life on September 12, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. The service will be held at Clark S Brown Funeral Home, located at 727 N Patterson Avenue, Winston Salem, NC 27101. Tray Franklin's life was a beautiful blend of dedication to his family, passion for his craft, and love for life. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
