Tracy Lakeith Daniels

April 13, 1965 — July 31, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved father, brother, cousin and friend Tracy Daniels passed away suddenly on July 31, 2026. Tracy Lakeith Daniels was born on April 13, 1965, in Boynton Beach, Florida to Lenwood Daniels Sr. and Castella Johnson at Bethesda Hospital. He was the 5th of 8 children. Tracey attended Florida Public Schools and was very athletic; loving football most of all. He worked as a surveyor in his adult life and also aspired to have his own business. Tracy met the mother of his 3 children in 2001 and to that union was born: Traveous Lakeith, Calvin and Destini Traci Daniels. He was preceded in death by his father Lenwood Daniels Sr. and mother Castella Shepard; as well as his brother Lenton Leonard Daniels. He leaves behind his beloved siblings: his eldest brother Lenwood (Stephanie) Daniels Jr., his sister Juliet (Tony-deceased) Clark, his sister Gwendolyn (Ulrick) Daniels-Seneque, his sister Angela (Eric)Washington, his sister Shakisha (Steve) Bowen, youngest brother Samuel McBride and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. Tracy will be remembered for his sense of humor, his laugh and his strong presence. Join us in remembering Tracy’s life and cherishing the memories made with him.

I still hear your voice calling someone "Big Dummy" or "Fool", and it makes me smile through my tears. That's just who you were- someone who could make people laugh no matter what. When we were younger, I was always trying to follow you and Nard around. I just wanted to be where my big brothers were. Back then, I probably got on your nerves sometimes, but I hope you knew it was because I loved you so much and looked up to you both. Now you and Nard are together again, and while that brings me some peace, it doesn't stop me from missing you. There are so many days I wish I could hear you laugh, hug you one more time or just sit and talk like we used to. Thank you for being my brother. Thank you for every laugh, every lesson, and ever memory you've left in my heart. Those memories are treasures that time can never take away. Until we meet again, I'll keep carrying you with me. I'll smile when I think of your jokes, I'll cry when I miss you and I'll always be proud to say you were my brother. I love you forever, BroDan. Love always, Your little sister Shakisha.
