In loving memory of Tracey Dawn Davis, who departed this world on June 7, 2026, at the age of 59, after a courageous battle with cancer. Tracey passed away peacefully at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven, MS, surrounded by the love of her family and the compassionate care of the hospital staff, to whom the family extends their heartfelt gratitude.
Tracey was born on July 28, 1966, to Harold Wayne Goodwin and Bettie Lou Bennett of Grenada, MS who nurtured her with love and imbued her with the values of kindness, resilience, and compassion that she carried throughout her life. She was a beacon of light and a source of strength to all who knew her.
Tracey shared a beautiful journey with her husband, the late Dennis Aaron Davis of Philipp, MS. Together, they raised two remarkable children, Jennifer Paige Tackett of Shelby, MS, and Dakota Davis of Illinois. Tracey was a devoted mother, always encouraging her children to pursue their dreams and instilling in them the importance of kindness and integrity. Her love for her family was boundless, and it shone brightly in every aspect of her life.
Tracey cherished her role as a grandmother to her two precious grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride into her life. She delighted in their laughter and cherished every moment she spent with them, creating memories that will be treasured for generations.
Throughout her life, Tracey was known for her generous spirit and unwavering dedication to helping others. She touched the lives of many with her warm smile, gentle heart, and the selfless way she extended her hand to those in need. Her legacy is one of love, compassion, and strength, and she leaves behind a tapestry of cherished memories that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to know her.
