In Loving Memory of Tracey Ann Christman
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tracey Ann Christman, who peacefully departed this life on March 26, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on December 9, 1963, in the vibrant city of San Francisco, California, Tracey was the beloved daughter of Robert Jean Christman and Gladys Patricia Kidd. She was a cherished sister, devoted mother, and a loyal friend to those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Tracey’s life was a tapestry of resilience, generosity, and unwavering love. She navigated the challenges of life with grace and dignity, always maintaining her kind and generous heart. Her journey through life was marked by a steadfast determination to rise above her disabilities, ever hopeful that the medical world would one day offer her relief. Despite these challenges, Tracey’s spirit remained unbroken, and her zest for life was infectious to all around her.
A graduate of El Camino High School in South San Francisco, Tracey embarked on a career as an administrative assistant in several corporations throughout the 1980s and early 1990s. However, her true calling emerged when she transitioned to working as a Food Server at Pete's Pizza in Elk Grove, CA, where she also lent her passion for cooking to the establishment. Her colleagues and patrons remember her warmth and the genuine care she infused into every dish she helped prepare.
Tracey’s creativity and panache were evident in her love for fashion, makeup, and hairstyling. She relished in cutting friends' hair and was the life and soul of every gathering, especially during Thanksgiving, when she lovingly prepared meals for her friends. Her home was a sanctuary for her beloved animals, and her nurturing spirit extended to every living being she encountered.
Her heart belonged to her two beautiful children, Chelsea Dunn and Justin Dunn, who were the center of her universe. Tracey was the epitome of a devoted mother, her love for them unconditional and boundless. Her legacy lives on in them, a testament to the strength, compassion, and joy she embodied.
Tracey was predeceased by her mother, Patricia, her step-father, Don, her brother, Donnie, her step-brother, Bobby, and her father, Bob. She is survived by her cherished daughter Chelsea, her beloved son Justin, her brother John Christman and his wife Lesa, her sister Karen Victoria Latunski and her husband Robert, her brother Bobby Christman and his wife Roberta, her brother Michael Christman and his husband Mike Fanning, and her step-sister Brenda Fitzpatrick and her husband Richard. Her dear friend Travis Simonson, with whom she shared countless adventures as a Rockhound in the Arizona desert, was a constant pillar of support and friendship.
Tracey’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and the joy found in simple pleasures. As we bid farewell to a remarkable woman, we celebrate a life well-lived, and a spirit that continues to inspire and uplift. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
A private family service will be held in her honor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Tracey’s compassionate and giving nature.
