It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Tori Deshea Milo on June 30, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones at Jeanie Sealy Hospital in Galveston, Texas. Born on May 11, 1988, in Port Arthur, Texas, Tori was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend. She touched the lives of everyone she met with her infectious laughter and boundless compassion.
Tori was the cherished daughter of Shedrick and Sherry Moore Terry Milo. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Betty Bowden Johnson; her maternal great-grandparents, Sam and Eva Bowden; her paternal grandparents, Robert and Carolyn Armstrong; and her paternal great-grandparents, Cleveland and Juanita Milo. Among her aunts and uncles who preceded her are Susie Allen, Mary Helen Thomas, Cleveland Milo Jr., Charles Milo, Clyde Trahan, Leo Vern Foreman, Percy Allen, and Leroy Mims. Her very special cousins, Shannon Remo, Johnathan Castillo, and Damon Bowden, also await her in eternal rest.
Tori leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory. She is survived by her two handsome sons, Brayden Deshawn and Jase Ryan, who were the light of her life. Her sister Aaliyah and brothers Charles and Terry Milo mourn her passing, as does her devoted fiancée, John Mayon. Tori is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles, including Yvonne Trahan, Robert Mae Mims, Gloria Foreman, Mark and Bree Bowden, Michael and Lois McMillian, Gerald Armstrong, Robert and Tanya Armstrong, Deirdra Bell (Bernard), LaKisha Armstrong, Joyce Milo, Linda, Kenneth and Janice Milo, and Betty Stilts.
A proud graduate of Memorial High School's Class of 2006, Tori pursued her passion for caring for others by attending Lamar LIT for Nursing. Her dedication to her profession was matched only by her unwavering spirit and her ability to bring joy to those around her, even during her years of hospitalization. Known for her wit and warm smile, Tori was always ready with a joke to lighten any room she entered.
A service to celebrate Tori's life will be held on July 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Eastern Star Baptist Church, located at 548 15th Street, Port Arthur, TX 77640. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Tori are invited to join in honoring her remarkable life.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice in Tori's name, as a reflection of her caring and generous spirit.
Tori Deshea Milo will forever be remembered for her courage, kindness, and the love she shared with those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy will continue to inspire and uplift the hearts of all she touched.
