Tonya Carroll

In loving memory of Tonya Carroll, who was born on February 26, 1974, in St. Louis, Missouri, and who departed this world on July 6, 2026, after a courageous battle with stage 4 lung cancer. Throughout her life, Tonya embodied kindness and generosity, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the fortune to know her. Tonya's life was a testament to the power of warmth and inclusivity. She had an extraordinary gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued, a rare quality that touched countless lives. Her legacy is woven from the countless moments of compassion and joy she brought to those around her. She was the beloved daughter of Ann Redden and Rickey Wallace. Tonya cherished her family deeply and was a devoted spouse to Matthew Carroll. Together, they shared a life full of love and cherished memories. Her family was her pride and joy, and her love for her children, Joey Carroll and Michael Carroll, was boundless. She now joins her predeceased sons, Patrick Wallace and Matthew Carroll, in eternal peace. Tonya's heart extended beyond her immediate family to include her siblings: Tina Wallace (Todd Yeggy), Rickey Wallace (Kristina Wallace), Mitchell Lutes (Wendy Lutes), Krystal Grisham (Ryan Grisham), Robert Wallace (Ashley Johnson), Randy Wallace, and Jason Wallace. She was also a cherished grandmother, aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, and a dear friend to many. Tonya's parents, Ann Parson and her husband Tom, and Rickey Wallace and his wife Donna, survive her, carrying forward her legacy of love and kindness. A private memorial service will be held on August 15, 2026, celebrating Tonya's life and the profound impact she had on her family and community. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Tonya, as a tribute to her generous spirit. Tonya Carroll's life was a beacon of love and light. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to inspire and guide those who had the privilege of knowing her. May her memory be a blessing to all.
