February 22, 1966 – June 15, 2026 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tony Timmons, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle nephews and friend, who left this world on June 15, 2026, at the age of 60. Tony's journey began in the quaint town of Andrews, South Carolina, on a chilly February day in 1966, where he was welcomed into the world by his loving parents, Rosa B. Alston and Teddy Greene, both of whom preceded him in death. Tony was raised in the home of his grandparents, Bobby and Rosena Timmons both of whom preceded him in death. Tony was a man of many talents and passions, characterized by his warm heart and infectious zest for life. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy, a commitment that shaped his character and instilled in him a profound sense of duty and honor. After his military service, Tony embarked on a successful career as a Supervisor with International Trade Mark in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was revered for his leadership, dedication, and unwavering work ethic. Beyond his professional achievements, Tony was a man who cherished life's simple pleasures. He had a deep love for dancing, often seen joyfully moving to the rhythm of his favorite tunes. Music was the soundtrack of his life, a constant companion that brought him immense joy. Tony also had an adventurous spirit, with a passion for traveling that took him to new and exciting places, broadening his horizons and deepening his appreciation for the world around him. Tony was a family man through and through, a pillar of strength and source of unconditional love for those he held dear. His daughter, Antonia J. Timmons, whim he loved dearly.His legacy continues through his three cherished grandchildren.Tony also leaves behind his siblings, Jestine T. Coffield (Donel), Stephanie McCray (Wallace), Antoine Alston, Brenda Callum & Roberta Miller who were both first cousins but raised as sisters will forever hold him in their hearts. A man of faith, Tony was a member of Browns Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in the Ocedar Community of Andrews, SC, before his relocation. His faith and belief in God was a cornerstone of his life, providing him with strength and comfort throughout his journey. Tony had a knack for bringing people together, often entertaining family and friends with his warm hospitality and infectious humor. He was a loyal fan of the game show "Family Feud" and a devoted follower of football, passions that he shared with those around him, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and camaraderie. As we bid farewell to Tony, we celebrate a life lived with purpose, passion, and love. His legacy of kindness, resilience, and joy will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. In honoring his memory, we find solace in the love he shared and the indelible mark he left on the lives he touched. As we celebrate the remarkable journey of a man who was truly one of a kind.
