Tony Stark

April 1, 1986 — May 7, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tony Stark, who left this world on May 7, 2024. Born on April 1, 1986, in Los Angeles, United States, Tony was a man of unparalleled brilliance, courage, and heart, whose legacy will forever echo in the lives of those he touched. Tony was the beloved son of Howard and Mary Stark, who predeceased him and whose remarkable achievements in their own right set a powerful example for their son. From a young age, Tony displayed a prodigious talent for engineering and innovation, which he honed to perfection with a PhD from MIT, graduating in 2004. He used his remarkable intellect and ingenuity to serve the world in the most extraordinary ways. In 2016, Tony married the love of his life, Pepper Potts, on a serene beach, marking the beginning of a partnership that was as formidable as it was loving. Together, they welcomed their cherished daughter, Morgan Stark, into the world—a testament to Tony's belief in the future and the goodness it holds. Tony's career as Iron Man was nothing short of legendary. He dedicated his life to protecting others, serving his country as a member of the Avengers and SHIELD. His courage was unmatched, and his commitment to justice unwavering. Tragically, it was this commitment that ultimately claimed his life, as he used the infinity stones to snap his fingers, a selfless act that cost him everything but saved countless lives. His love for building new Iron Man suits was more than a hobby; it was a reflection of his relentless drive to improve and innovate. His close friends, Peter Parker, Rhodey, and Happy Hogan, will remember him not only as a hero but as a friend whose wit and warmth brought light into their lives. A service to honor and celebrate Tony's extraordinary life will be held on November 30, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, located at 136 11th Street. Friends and family are invited to gather to remember a man who gave so much to so many. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Tony's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization that reflects his dedication to helping those who have served. As we grieve this immeasurable loss, we hold onto the special message from his family—"You will be in our heart, Mr. Stark." Tony Stark's legacy will continue to inspire and guide us, reminding us of the power of selflessness and the enduring impact of a life lived in service of others.
