Tony Cortes, born on July 1, 2001, in Oneida, New York, passed away unexpectedly on September 11th, 2026, at the young age of 25. The sudden and tragic motorcycle accident that took him from us has left a profound sense of loss among his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Tony was the cherished son of Nicole M. Hart and the late James L. Cortes. His life was a beacon of promise and vitality, underscored by his passion and dedication to his work as the Owner and CEO of T&R Motors, a position he held from 2022 until his untimely passing. A graduate of Oneida High School, Class of 2019. His career was not just a profession; it was a testament to his unwavering commitment and entrepreneurial spirit. Tony took immense pride in his work, and his contributions to the community will be fondly remembered. He was a man of action and integrity, someone who built lasting relationships with those around him. Tony’s life was filled with love, laughter, and the simple joys of everyday moments. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him, for he was a kind soul who left an indelible mark on the hearts of many. The void he leaves is immeasurable, but his spirit and legacy will live on in the lives he touched. A service to honor Tony's life will be held on September 14th, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Cross Island Chapel in Oneida, New York. Family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by Tony are welcome to attend and celebrate the beautiful life he led. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tony's memory can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization close to his heart. This reflects his generous spirit and desire to make a difference in the lives of others. As we say goodbye to Tony, we hold onto the love and memories he gave us, knowing that he will forever be a part of us.
