Tonia Warren

June 23, 1965 — September 16, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tonia Warren, who left this world peacefully on September 16, 2026, at the Lawton Post & Rehab after bravely facing a long battle with cancer. Born on June 23, 1965, in Lawton, Oklahoma, Tonia was a cherished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roberson, whose legacy of love and strength she carried throughout her life. Tonia was preceded in death by her loving parents, her sister Pamela Robinson, and her beloved husband, Bobby Warren, with whom she shared a devoted marriage from June 22, 2011, until his passing. She is survived by her three adoring children, Rodney Moss, Andre (Yvonne) Roberson, and Vashay Moss, as well as her ten treasured grandchildren who brought immeasurable joy to her life. Her education began at Dunbar and Westwood Elementary Schools, followed by Tomlinson Jr. High and Lawton Senior High School, where she graduated in 1983. Tonia furthered her studies at Great Plains Technology Center, where she pursued cosmetology. Her professional journey included meaningful work at the Goodyear Tire Company in Lawton, Oklahoma, as a sales assistant. Yet, perhaps her most fulfilling role was that of a homemaker, a devoted wife, and a loving mother, until she entered medical retirement. A woman of faith, Tonia was an active member of the New Zion Baptist Church in Lawton. She committed her life to the Lord from a young age, steadfast in her beliefs until her health no longer permitted her active participation. Tonia was known for her quick wit and warm smile, always ready with a joke or a playful gesture that could light up any room. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and sharing her love for cooking, creating a home filled with laughter and delicious aromas. A service to celebrate Tonia's life will be held on September 24, 2026, 11:00 AM, at Howard Harris Funeral Services, 1005 SW C Ave, Lawton Oklahoma. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their prayers and support during this time of bereavement. Special thanks are given to the dedicated staff at Lawton Post Acute and Rehab for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Tonia's memory, reflecting her spirit of generosity and kindness.
