His career was dedicated to his work at Pilgrim Pride, where he was known not only for his hard work and dedication but also for his unwavering smile that brightened the days of his colleagues. A man of many passions, Tommy found joy in simple pleasures. He loved the serenity of fishing, the rhythm of dancing, and the art of grilling, where he often brought people together with his culinary skills. His infectious smile and graceful dance moves were a testament to a life lived with zest and a heart full of love. Tommy was a devoted member of the Forthcrossroad Baptist Church, where his faith was both a guiding light and a source of comfort throughout his life. He cherished the fellowship and community that he found there, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Garris, and their two sons, Jerome Garris and Tommy Lee Garris Jr., who will continue to carry forward his legacy of love and kindness. He also leaves behind two treasured grandchildren and one great-grandchild, who brought immense joy to his life. Tommy is predeceased by his dear sister, Joan Garris, whose memory he cherished deeply.
