In Loving Memory of Tommie James Johnson III Tommie James Johnson III, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend. Tommie departed this world on April 3, 2026, at the age of 30, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. Tommie was born on a day of celebration, July 4, 1995, in Flint, Michigan, to Lisa Crawford-Murphy and Tommie Johnson II. From his earliest days, Tommie embodied the spirit of his birth date—bringing light, joy, and warmth to everyone he encountered. Tommie was a proud graduate of Mott Community School, where he forged friendships that lasted a lifetime. For the past three years, he dedicated himself to his work at General Motors, where he was respected and admired for his strong work ethic and unyielding dedication. Family was at the heart of Tommie's world. He found immense joy in visiting with his mother, Lisa, whose unwavering support and love were his constant source of strength. His pride and joy, his newborn son O'Me Fair Johnson, brought a newfound light into his life, and Tommie cherished every moment spent with him. Tommie's presence was a gift to all who knew him. His quick wit and warm smile could light up the darkest room, making everyone feel welcome and valued. He was a man of kindness and generosity, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a comforting word. His spirit touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of his family and friends. He is survived by his loving parents, Lisa Crawford-Murphy and Tommie Johnson II; Step dad Aaron Murpy Sr. his beloved son, O'Me Fair Johnson; his siblings, Latrell Reeves, Shyam Reeves, and Shamic Johnson; his five cherished aunties, Yolanda Fisher, Angela Green, Nicole Johnson, Katrina Fisher, and Star Keshia; his three uncles, Phill Johnson, Dominick Johnson, and William Greewell II; and a host of great-aunties, great-uncles, and a host of cousins, including a special cousin, Akileon Fisher. Tommie is reunited in eternal peace with those who predeceased him, including his brothers, Aaron Murphey Jr. and Kendrick Johnson; his grandmother, Audrea Crawford; his grandfather, Tommie Johnson Sr.; his great-grandparents, Thelma and Donald Fisher; and his uncle, Major Patrick. A celebration of Tommie's life will be held on July 5, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Mince Manor Community Center, located at 3800 Richfield Rd. Flint, MI 48506. All who knew and loved Tommie are invited to join in honoring his memory and the joy he brought into our lives. Though Tommie may no longer walk among us, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched. We will carry his memory with us, finding comfort in the laughter he shared and the love he so freely gave.
