Tomasina Nina Castricone

February 26, 1950 — April 18, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, and friend, Tomasina Nina Castricone, who left us suddenly on April 18, 2026, after a brief illness. Born on February 26, 1950, in the picturesque village of S. Maria Infante, provincia di Latina, Tomasina's life was a remarkable journey of love, dedication, and unwavering kindness. Tomasina was the cherished daughter of the late Angelo and Antoinette Mallozzi, whose loving influence shaped the compassionate woman she would become. In 1968, she graduated from Gordon Graydon Secondary School, carrying with her the values of education and community that would guide her throughout her life. On December 26, 1970, Tomasina married the love of her life, Raymond Joseph Castricone. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared a love story that spanned decades until his passing on January 7, 1995. Their union was blessed with two wonderful children, Joseph, married to Denise, and Lilia, married to Peter, who brought immense joy and pride into Tomasina's life. Tomasina's nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, as she was a devoted sister to Nancy (Keith), Lily (Drew), Carmine, Tom (Italia), and David (Darlene). Her siblings cherished her as a pillar of strength and wisdom, and her many nieces and nephews adored her for her generosity and warmth. A proud grandmother, Tomasina doted on her four grandchildren, each a testament to her enduring legacy of love and family values. Her home was always filled with laughter, and her heart with the stories and dreams of those she held dear. Tomasina dedicated much of her life to caring for others. Her compassionate nature was evident in her role as a Sunday School teacher at Howard Park Pentecostal Church, where she inspired young minds and hearts for many years. Her commitment to her faith and community was unwavering, and she was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her nurturing spirit was inherited from her mother, a caregiver by nature, which Tomasina embodied with grace and dedication. Her kindness knew no bounds, and she was a beacon of hope and comfort to all who crossed her path. Tomasina is predeceased by her beloved husband, Raymond, and her parents, Angelo and Antoinette, whose memories she carried with her until the end. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. As we gather to celebrate the life of Tomasina Nina Castricone, we remember her warmth, her unwavering strength, and her boundless love. Her life was a testament to the power of kindness and the importance of family, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A funeral service will be held to honor Tomasina's life, allowing family and friends to come together in remembrance and gratitude for the profound impact she had on all of us. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Tomasina's name, to continue her legacy of compassion and care. Though she is no longer with us, Tomasina's spirit will forever be a guiding light in our lives, reminding us to cherish each moment and to love as fully and generously as she did.
