October 3, 1952 — February 20, 2026

In loving memory of Todd Alan Tinker, whose journey on earth concluded on February 20, 2026, as he peacefully made his way home to reunite with those he dearly missed. Born on October 3, 1952, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Todd graced the world with his presence for 73 years, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Todd was the cherished son of James E. and Clementine M. (Bertoutille) Tinker, who instilled in him values of kindness and generosity. He is now reunited with them, as well as his beloved brother Charles Tinker and his partner in life and love, Clyde Polster, whom he married on December 17, 2016, in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Though their union was legally sealed for only a decade, Todd and Clyde shared a remarkable 45-year journey filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Todd’s legacy of love continues through his daughter, Marcella Anderson, who carries forward his spirit in her own family. He was a proud grandfather to six and a great-grandfather to five, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride. His siblings, Jock (and wife Marty) Tinker, Patricia Tomlinson, and sister-in-law Lanna Tinker, survive him, alongside Clyde's family, including Bonnie Polster (and husband Donald Grissom), Roger (and wife Mary) Polster, and Carla (and husband Ron) Prochnow. The tapestry of Todd’s life was woven with the love of numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. He cherished these connections deeply, making everyone feel welcome and valued with his quick wit and humor. His smile was known to light up a room, and his stories and advice—sometimes unsolicited but always heartfelt—were gifts to those around him. Todd dedicated over 40 years of his professional life to J&J Properties as a property manager, a role in which he thrived and built enduring relationships. His earlier years saw him exploring various jobs, yet it was his personal interests that truly defined him. Todd had a passion for nurturing life, whether it was through his garden, the birds he so lovingly bred and homed, or the time spent with his cherished cats. A traveler at heart, Todd captured the world through the lens of his camera, preserving precious moments in his beautiful photography and videos. His zest for life was contagious, and his love for both people and animals was evident in every interaction. Todd’s family extends their deepest gratitude to the healthcare professionals who cared for him throughout his life. In his unique way, Todd taught us that family is not solely defined by blood but by the bonds we cultivate. His circle of love was ever-expanding, welcoming all who accepted him into their hearts. To know Todd was to love him—or perhaps not, as he would jest—but he was at peace with that. His parting leaves a profound void, yet his spirit will forever guide those he touched. Todd Alan Tinker’s life was a testament to the power of love, laughter, and the enduring strength of family—by blood or by choice. May his soul find eternal peace and joy in the reunion with his loved ones.
